Cornhole the Blowholes for Prizes!

(October 15, 2010) --- The origins of the game of cornhole trace back to 18th century America when sailors from the shipbuilding port of Green Bay would sail out of the St. Lawrence Seaway, down the Atlantic coastline to Cuba to trade beer and bratwurst for rum and cigars. While passing the Eastern tip of Florida, sailors would pass the time by feeding left-over corn-pies to the killer dolphins near Miami. But when an errant tossed corn-pie accidentally tossed into a dolphin’s blowhole, that scurvy sailor was forced to take a big swig from a bottle of rum. Over the many centuries, the seaward activity has evolved into the land-lubber game we all know today.

A popular homemade Midwest tailgate game, the CFPB version of cornhole will give you a chance to stick-it to a certain Viking blow-hole.
Well, here’s your chance to celebrate Wisconsin history while we all watch our Packers take on the Miami Dolphins at One Eyed Jacks. The cornhole champ this Sunday afternoon wins a beautiful and sporty Aaron Rodgers jersey.

To give you extra incentive to toss your bag into the hole successfully, the CFPB club placed a picture of one of the leading blowholes in the NFL on the front platform. (Some say the hole should have been placed closer to his crotch.)

Anyway, the doors at CFPB headquarters at One Eyed Jack’s open at noon. See you this Sunday!
